To conclude our English unit of work, the children wrote very impressive, persuasive letters to King Charles, convincing him to place Katherine Johnson on his Honour's list. They used the necessary language features: persuasive and emotive language, rhetorical questions, exaggeration and flattery, along with a number of justification points to support their arguments.
