Year 4
Welcome to Year 4!
Our teacher is Miss Doolan and our teaching assistant is Ms Green. We are supported by Mrs Henshaw on Tuesdays. We love to explore new topics in Year 4 and always try our best. Keep reading to find out more about our class and what we have been getting up to!
THINGS TO REMEMBER
Swimming has now come to an end.
Year 4 will now have PE on Mondays and Fridays.
Children's PE kits will remain in school, but we ask that you send your child in with correct footwear.

Wednesday 8th May 2024 - Y4 Class Liturgy Assembly (9.00 a.m.)
Thursday 16th May 2024 - Y4 Class Mass (9.30 a.m.)
Friay 24th May 2024 - Break up for Half Term
Monday 10th June 2024 - Return for final school term
Please make sure you are spending time learning your times tables. This should be happening regularly at home to make sure you are confident with all times tables and that you have a secure understanding, as this is a Year 4 expectation. All children have their TT Rockstar login, this should be completed daily.
Reading
Please encourage your child to read every night and record what they are reading in their reading records. Regular reading is very important and will ensure your child makes good progress with their English skills and that they will be ready to progress when they move onto Upper KS2. Remember, you will recieve a certificate for every 50 reads completed at home!
Books are to be returned to class and will be changed on a Friday.
