Week beginning 26th September

Library Visit

In preparation for Black History Month children visited Burnage Library. They listened to a story on this theme, used the Dewey system, explored the library and chose a book to take back to school.

We encourage every child to join the library and use this rich resource.

Did you know you can take out up to 8 books and keep them for 3 weeks?

If you need to use a computer, do your homework or print off your spellings you can do this here for free!

Thank you to all the staff at Burnage LIbrary and to all the children in Year 5/6 who were so responsible, respectful and enthusiastic throughout.

What a fantastic place to have so close to our school.

The Treaty of Versailles

In History we have learning about the events leading up to the start of World War II. Children have deepened their understanding of The Treaty of Versailles through drama, dance and research.

Here are some examples of their work this week.
