Amid a week of practise SATs tests, Year 6 took some time in our Art lesson to listen to relaxation music while creating their own unique Zentangle patterns in their sketchbooks. Zentangle is an abstract drawing method, created using repetitive patterns and it is intended to be a very relaxing, free, expressive and creative art form. Drawing zentangles is also linked to mindfulness and these design matrix' will become a reference point for future Art lessons. Take a look at some of their creations...
