Pentatonic Melodies
In music, we have been working on composing our own pentatonic melodies. The children were only allowed to choose notes from the pentatonic scale in their compositions. When played simultaneously, the notes complement each other making a sweet sound. We’ve all enjoyed this unit, well done Year 4 for your focus and teamwork.
On Thursday we had the pleasure of going to Burnage Academy to take part in a Shakespeare workshop. Miss Boyd and Miss showed our Moran led us in a workshop on A Midsummer Night's Dream. We had a fantastic day and it really heled to prepare us for our Shakespeare project in Year 5
