Week beginning 25th March
This week our focus has been Holy Week. The children in Nursery Reception and year 1 have been learning about the Easter story through stories, drama, art and craft.Have a look at some of the wonderful things we have been doing and making.
We made some wonderful Easter cards and beautiful stained glass crosses.
We loved making our Easter garden.
We re-enacted Palm Sunday.
Year 1 re-enacted the Last Supper.
Year 1 visited the Stations of the cross.
Nursery and Reception learnt about the Great Commandment and the story of the Good Samaritan. They talked about the importance of loving their neighbour and we explored who our neighbour might be.
