We had a wonderful world book day today! The children looked fabulous in their pj’s. They worked hard on decorating our door ( picture to follow) we visited Come dine with Me where we had to guess which stories the food was from. We took part in a quiz guessing the book from the club. The teachers swapped classes and Miss Doolan read a story to EYFS and as you could see from our catwalk parade, the children worked really hard making masks of their favourite book characters. Lots of fun was had by all and we still need to create our potato characters and see who win the “reading in an unusual place “ competition!
Nursery have been role playing the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week!
Reception have been writing the story of Goldilocks and the Three Crocodiles this week, while Year 1 have been changing the story and wring about their own story.
Our year 6 buddies visited us today at Golden time to read stories to us and we loved it.
