Week beginning 12th September

We have finally moved into our beautiful new classroom and the Reception and Year 1’s have had lots of fun exploring the different areas. Well done to all the Reception children for coming into school so wonderfully on Monday and welcome to our lovely new Reception children who have settled so well.

We have been remembering Mary’s birthday which was last week and collaging a picture of her for our display.

There has been a bag making craze today!

We have been talking about our class saint -St Gianna Beretta Molla- patron saint of mothers, physicians and unborn babies. The children loved learning about how she was an amazing doctor who cared for babies and children. Lots of the children then pretended to be St Gianna in the role play area.

There has been some fabulous co-operative play this week!
