Bikeability
Children in Year 5/6 have been taking part in Bikeability this week!
It is a cycle training prpgramme which is a great opportunity for the children to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding to cycle safely on the roads.
We encourage all children in our class to cycle more and this scheme hopes to give children the confidence to take part in all kinds of cycling in the future.

Zoom Poet Workshop
Today we had the pleasure of joining schools across Manchester in a zoom workshop with the poet Donovan Christopher.
As part of our Black History activities children enjoyed learning about Queen Amanirenas and Mansa Musa. A highlight for the class was taking part in a live quiz. Children not only answered questions they also created their own. Some of which were answered, some of which we will be investigating ourselves.
This workshop really has ignited the children's interest in both poetry and ancient civilisations.
