Week beginning 23rd September
In R.E., the children have been learning all about the family of God in scripture and began the unit by researching (for homework) and then constructing their own family trees in our computing lesson, using 2Connect on Purple Mash. From Abraham to Jesus, they have been studying Jesus's human family and subsequently worked in 'filming groups' to act out and record role plays depicting the adventurous stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Esau. Following this, their hard work was presented to parents and pupils in our class liturgy where we heard and responded to a reading from the book of Genesis, in which God spoke to Abraham.
