Week beginning 4th November
This week we are learning all about the Hindu Festival of Light- Diwali that took place at the weekend. We’ve listened to some Diwali stories, talked about the clothes worn and made our own salt dough diva lamps and it’s only Tuesday!
We’ve even been making our own Rangoli patterns outside.
We’ve been watching “Poppies” on CBeebies and learning about why we wear poppies.
Outside we’ve been exploring some seasonal vegetables and making some magic potions.
As we’ve been talking about Bonfire Night, we made a firework picture in our outdoor area.
Outdoor number and mark making fun!
Reception went on a triangle and circle shape hunt in maths today.
We love Wednesday because we have PE!
Year 4 have been learning all about teeth so they came to teach us the importance of brushing. EYFS are going to start brushing their teeth in school next week.
