Week beginning 24th February 2025
This week we enjoyed 'painting' at forest school. We used the petals from flowers, hammers and fabric to create 'forest paint prints'. We also enjoyed the mud kitchen, den building and climbing. Have a look at what we got up to!
In geography, we planted flowers in an environment that is similar to a cloud forest near the equator using plastic bottles, gravel, charcoal and soil.
We have been exploring shapes this week. We named shapes and explored patterns and investigated which shapes tesselate to make pictures and patterns.
In science, we have been finding out how exercise keeps our bodies healthy. We predicted which muscles we would use when we exercise and tried a range of exercises to test our predictions. Take a look at us in action...
As we continue on our journey as pilgrims of hope, this week we have been focusing on how kindness brings hope. We thought about how we can be kind to others in school and at home to make our world a better place.
