Week beginning 20th January 2025
We worked with Jo the artist to create a collaborative piece of art to depict the Bible story 'Joseph and his dreamcoat'. Our art work was in the style of the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, who uses lots of dots and circles in her work.
In RE this week, we focused on the story of John the Baptist baptising Jesus. We discussed how both Jesus and John would have been feeling and thought about questions that we would ask them. We then took turns to 'hot seat' John and Jesus. Thoughtful responses were given. Well done Y1 & Y2!
In golden time this week, we made our own play dough. We enjoyed getting our hands messy!
