We had a very special delivery on Monday and are eagerly waiting for our new friends to arrive. We’ll keep you posted. We should have news later this week.
Exciting times! Much to our delight, we came into school this morning to a chorus of cheeping chicks, 🐣
While we’re waiting for our caterpillars 🐛 to arrive we adopted one from our outdoor area for a day then released it back into the wild.

We had a wonderful time in forest school on Monday.
In PSHE Reception have been learning about the importance of asking permission and the discussing the consequences of not asking. Nursery have been learning about being a good friend and the importance of including everyone in our play
In Maths, Reception have been naming 3d shapes and identifying their properties then matching them to everyday objects.
Nursery have been counting and recognising numbers to 5.
Outdoors we’ve been exploring what materials are magnetic and which are not and what it feels like when there is a magnetic force.
Enjoying the sunshine outdoors.
Finally today was the day we’ve all been waiting for! The day we could hold the 8 beautiful chicks that have hatched!
