In R.E. we are looking at different communities, so the children spent the first lesson of this term investigating and discussing the range of voluntary services which are offered to the Burnage community.
This week, we began our new Art unit 'Power Prints' - the children explored shading, using different pencils, to create simple 3D effects...
We began the week on the Feast of the Epiphany and the children beautifully decorated our display board with images of the three wise men and gifts that they deemed suitable for the son of God. Subsequently, the children researched how the Epiphany is celebrated around the world.
