Week beginning 11th November

Stay and Play was just wonderful this morning with so many parents coming to join their children learn in school. What a lovely way to start the week! We can’t wait for next Monday.

We also held our own collective worship and 2minute silence at 11o’clock.

As part of anti-bullying week, today was Odd Socks day to celebrate our uniqueness. We had some wonderful combinations! Just have a look!

We designed our own odd socks and decorated a heart to give to a friend to show we care.

In maths both Nursery and Reception have been learning about positional language this week and today we made an obstacle course. The children had to follow the instructions to make their way across it. They loved it so much they continued using it with the school leaders at lunchtime.

Last week we heard from Year 4 how important it is to keep our teeth clean. Today the Early years children brushed their teeth after lunch and this will continue to be part of our daily routine from now on. Each child has their own toothbrush and bag to keep it in. Mrs Breeze was so impressed with our pearly white smiles afterwards!
