Week 2
This week in art, we learnt how to apply our skills inspired by the style of an ancient civilisation. We planned a design for a scroll thinking about the key features of the artwork of the Ancient Egyptians.
We had a wonderful science lesson this week, learning all about magentic forces and using magnets to find out which items were magnetic or not!
This week in RE, we talked about Laudato Si and listened to the Laudato Si song. We went outside and spent some time looking, listening and reflecting on God's creation. Looking at the pictures we collected and descriptions of being outside, we wrote another verse to celebrate God's creation. We enjoyed being in the forest and had quiet time here where we could think about things. We chose the colourful prayer garden, where they had lots of flowers and plants. We could pray to Mary and Jesus on the statue in the rosary garden and say thank you for our world. The trees give us oxygen and the plants are part of the food chain.
