Year 3 had a brilliant science afternoon competing to see which group could build the tallest tower out of marshmallows and spaghetti and whose boat could hold the most house points! We also did an experiment to see the effects of using washing up liquid and black pepper with water and linked it to the importance of washing our hands

This week as part of science week, and linking to our current science unit, the children were investigating shadows. They used the torches and chosen objects to decide whether items were transparent, translucent or opaque.
