Week beginning 10th February 2025

In science, we have been learning about the importance of hand washing. We carried out an experiment using oil and coco powder. The oil and powder represented the germs and dirt that can be on our hands. We then looked at how the germs can spread when we touch surfaces. We tested washing our hands using only cold water, warm water and warm water with soap. We found out that the best way to make sure that our hands are really clean is washing them in warm water AND soap!

Well done to the children in the winning house who enjoyed martial arts, sports and art activities today. Have a look at what they got up to...

This week we have been learning about the 'Pilgrims of Hope' logo. We focused on the blue waves, the anchor and the cross. We found out that the blue waves represent our lives. Sometimes our lives are calm and other times they are a bit bumpy. We know that whatever happens in our lives that God is there to give us stability and support. God is like our anchor.
