Week beginning 10th November 2025
This week was 'Anti-Bullying Week' with a focus on using our 'Powers for Good.' First we designed our own sock to demonstrate how we are all different but equal and then we discussed a range of scenarios in which children would feel uncomfortable and how to act and give the correct support in these situations. The children then did a fantastic job of creating their own anti-bullying comic strip. Take a look at what they came up with...
Tuesday was Remembrance Day and we listened to a range of stories about the war, participated in a minute silence, had an oracy lesson around the book 'Memorial' and produced our own poems titled Grandpa's Remembers...
As we are currently reading 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' in our English lessons, we reached the chapter where Edmund meets the Queen of Narnia (White Witch) and she bribes him with Turkish Delight. To appreciate how yummy Edmund found it, we indulged in some of our own and the majority of us really enjoyed the taste...
