Week beginning 12th January

What an exciting forest school session we had today with Mrs Hughes! We all sat round a real camp fire and toasted marshmallows and sang campfire songs! Everyone had so much fun!

We’ve all been very creative in the classroom today! We’ve made junk modelling creations, created playdough penguins and lots of other exciting things! Just take a look.

We learnt more about penguins and their habitats. Did you know penguins have 3 ? - The beach, the forest and icy snowy places. We learnt about what they eat and how they live. Then reception drew and labelled a penguin and Nursery drew a penguin.

In line with the EYFS curriculum and the importance of early oral health, today we’ve started brushing our teeth after lunch in school. This will happen everyday as part of the daily routine.

The children thoroughly enjoyed their PE lesson with Mr Shaw today when they took part in gymnastics using the equipment in the hall.

What a week! Today Reception had a fabulous time at the Manchester City training ground taking part in football skills with their coaches! Everyone had a wonderful time!

Today we’ve been doing some penguin dancing and penguin yoga!
