Week beginning 24th February

We had a wonderful calm start to our week this week with our stay and pray session. It was lovely to see so many parents attending. We learnt that Jesus wants us to be a good example to others. We’re looking out for good role models in class this week.

Outdoors, the police are back, we’ve been making winter soup and having lots of fun in the water.

We’ve had a special delivery in our class today. We have no idea what they are but they’ve caused lots of excitement. Hopefully we’ll find out as the week goes on.

We found out our delivery was a bag of magic beans from the story Jack and the Beanstalk. We’ve been building castles and beanstalks from the story and painting beanstalks.

Our current focus in our Pilgrims of Hope journey is kindness. We’ve been making lots of friendship cards this week and talking about giving compliments to others and how it makes them feel happy.

As part of our Pilgrims of Hope work, we have been listening to the story of the Good Samaritan and learning we should love everyone including our enemies, the way Jesus loves us. We even re-enacted the story.

Forest School was so much fun this week. We got involved with lots of role play and we got busy with the hammers.
