We have been enjoying our Stay and Pray sessions each week. We would like to invite families to attend if they would like to. This starts at 9am every Monday.

Within English, we have been looking into writing setting descriptions. Children have designed their own setting and have written descriptive sentences using similes, metaphors and expanded noun phrases. They also took part in a group activity where they wrote descriptive sentences to describe the photo they were given. 

Through our Rosary challenge we have been praying for world peace. With everything going on in the world, we agreed to focus on this, as we believed it is an important cause. We shared our views on why it means a lot to us and what we can pray for to bring world peace. The children wrote a short prayer to Mary or a poem. These were shared in our celebration assembly. Your poems and prayers were amazing Year 5, well done!
