What a fantastic World Book Day 2026!!!!!
We shared the poem 'I opened a book' by Julia Donaldson. We then created a story map, talked about our favourite line from the poem and created our own poem using this as a model.
We talked about our favourite book and listened to one of them in ours pjs and blankets!!! We finished off the day building reading dens with our grown ups.
