Mary, Queen of Heaven, Brings Us Hope
During May, we have honoured Mary, Mother of Jesus, as Queen of Heaven. We have made many petitions to her, asking her to intercede on our behalf, particularly praying for peace in our school, in our community and in our troubled world. We all took part in a very special procession where we offered flowers to Mary, led by our youngest children in Early Years. Classes have completed art week depicted the many different images of Mary and we have all focused on how asking for Mary to bring our prayers, big and small, to God our Father, can bring HOPE to all of us.
