The Anchor Brings Us Hope

As part of an incredibly special weeknd of activities our school has partnered with The Barlow RC High School, St Cuthbert's and our wonderful parishioners and friends at St Bernard's RC Church to celebrate the journey of the Pilgrims of Hope Anchor. The Anchor arrived in spectacular style at our school on a steam engine and we spent a wonderful afternoon of HOPE with our friends from our high school.  We celebrated this special event by creating beautiful pieces of art work, in the style of our favourite artists and based on our favourite bible stories.  We then celebrated mass together with the parish, sharing our art work with the parishioners.  For the final stage, we travelled to St Cuthbert's to pass the Anchor on to them.  A wonderful connection of HOPE between our three neighbouring schools and ultimately across the whole of the Salford Diocese family of schools.
