Week 4
Wow! What an amazing school trip we had this week! We started the day off at Manchester Art gallery with a workshop delivered by the artist, Kate Freeborough who led us round the galleries and taught us about how being perfect is overrated and to celebrate our imperfections. We found imperfections in several pieces in the gallery and even got to create our own perfectly imperfect artwork! After this, we walked to Manchester Museum and had an amazing workshop on the Ancient Egyptians! We even got to handle ACTUAL ancient egyptian artefacts before going and looking round the different galleries.
