Week 6- The month of the Rosary
October is known in the Catholic Church as the Month of the Rosary. During this special month, we honour Mary, the Mother of Jesus, and take time to reflect on her faith, love, and devotion. It is a time for prayer and reflection, as we ask Mary to guide us closer to Jesus and to help us live with kindness, peace, and compassion.
The Rosary Challenge
The Rosary Challenge helps us grow closer to God through prayer. By praying the Rosary, we think about the special moments in the lives of Jesus and Mary. It helps us feel calm, thankful, and connected to our faith. Together as a school, we pray for others, show kindness, and strengthen our friendship with God as we grow in faith, believe in God’s love, and succeed by living out our values every day.
The Month of the Rosary

Month of prayer

The anchor is a special symbol of faith, hope, and strength within our community. It was kindly gifted to us by Barlow High School and arrived in a truly memorable way- travelling to us on a steam train! The anchor reminds us that, just as a ship is held steady in the storm, our faith keeps us grounded and strong through life’s challenges. It serves as a daily reminder to trust in God, stay steadfast in our beliefs, and to grow, believe and succeed together as one family in faith.
