Week beginning 10th March 2025
At forest school this week we had fun making a flower garden using sticks, string and coloured tissue paper. We practised using string to tie the paper onto the sticks.

We have been observing how our plants are growing in the 'cloud forest' environments that we created. We drew pictures of what we noticed and measured the growth of the plants using a tape measure.

During science week this week, we joined Blue cross for pets in a live zoom session to find out how to take care of pets and make sure that they have a good quality life.
We invited parents and carers into school today to take part in some fun science experiments. We tested materials to find objects that were magnetic, we tried dissolving different types of sugar and we tested different kinds of paper to see which are flushable and which would cause a blockage!

In our Caritas in action lesson today, we talked about if we can be happy on our own and what we can do to make others happy. We worked together to make a big piece of art.
