Week beginning 13th October

We started this week with our Mark 10 Mission -Little Liturgies. Today it was all about the importance of saying thank you.

In English Nursery are reading Pete the Cat and his white shoes. They are loving the story and the song that goes with it. Today they were introduced to the sound of the guitar. They had so much fun!

The children have become very interested in ballerinas since reading a story with one in. We have watched parts of a ballet and some children have even dressed up and joined in with the dancing themselves.

We had a wonderful time at forest school today. We made leaf wreaths using the fallen autumn leaves. We then followed up on this work in science where we made leaf rubbings to see the patterns of the leaves emerge on paper.

Today we took part in our sponsored active session led by Paralympian Michael Chum. It was fantastic! The children had so much fun and we then attended an assembly where he shared his story and the importance of always trying your best.
