On Thursday, The Riot Act came into school to put on a combination of a show and workshop in which the children engaged in activities aimed at educating them about the principles of safe and sustainable travel. Year 4 explored the importance of active travel methods, such as walking, cycling and public transport.
This week, we worked in groups to complete a card-sorting activity whereby we considered what makes us feel cared and uncared for. In addition, we discussed how we can put love into action in the communities we live in.
In Maths, we've been delving into division, using counters to support our understanding of how division is the inverse of multiplication. Alongside this, we learned the formal short division method, also known as the 'Bus Stop method.'
