Bringing an end to our Pilgrims of Hope year, we worked together to create a class poem to demonstrate how we can bring light to the world when it feels dark. We then spent Friday afternoon celebrating the end of this jubilee year with a party, cake and musical games...
This week also brought an end to our history work on the Great Plague of London. We've learned so many interesting facts about how this terrible disease spread rapidly and how the people dealt with the situation,, compring it to the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition, we finished the book we've been reading in our English lessons - 'The Plague: A cross on the Door' - which we thoroughly enjoyed - and are now busy finishing our informal letters between the characters of Sam and Alice, to demonstrate our subject knowledge...
While listening to classical music, we continued exploring texture, tone and proprotion in Art, using colour layering to draw sweek wrappers and sketch out last week's collages...
