Week beginning 30th March
In EYFS, we made a wonderful start to Holy Week. We learnt all about Palm Sunday. We re-enacted it with our parents and carers watching, we watched an animation and a Lego animation about it. We made palms and we pretended to be members of the crowd in Jerusalem walking round our playground and singing. We learnt about the stations of the cross and then visited them in the afternoon. Lovely work EYFS!
We had so much fun doing an egg hunt at forest school.
On Tuesday we learnt all about Jesus’ last supper with his disciples. We learnt about how nice it is to share with our friends. We re-enacted the story and learnt that when we’re older we can take the bread and wine in church to remember Jesus.
On Wednesday we completed our Holy Week work, learning how Jesus loves us so much that he died for us. We talked about our Easter garden and what each part represented and we finished our lovely Easter cards. Well done everyone.
