Week beginning 9th March

We had a busy Monday today. Stay and Pray with lots of parents and carers joining us which was wonderful. We listened to Bernie’s weekend adventures and had fun in the forest. As part of Science week we are learning about the changes in seasons and have been looking for signs of Spring while we were in the forest and outdoors today.

We have been busy making models of some jungle animals and even dressing up as some.

We’ve been taking part in some streamer dancing to help strengthen our gross motor skills. We had lots of fun!

As part of our science learning this week, we have been planting cress seeds.

Elsewhere in the classroom and outdoors we’ve been practising our reading and writing, building shelters for animals and also exploring how to make our cats go faster down ramps.

As part of science week we have been looking closely at different animals and talking about their features. We played a matching game where we had to put the pieces together to create the animals faces.
