We had a very special guest come to St. Bernard's.
The Fire service came in to talk to the children about anti-social behaviour, what can happen if you aren't careful around a bonfire and the harm it can cause you and others. Whilst fireworks are lovely to watch, they are still really dangerous and should only be set off by an adult.
We hope you have a fantastic bonfire night, but remember to stay safe!
We have come to the end of an incredible half-term. Even though it has been very busy and getting back into a routine after the summer holidays, the children have got on with it; they are truly St. Bernard's role models. You have made all the staff in our class very proud.
Let's keep up the hard work!
The staff in year 5 cannot wait for you to return after a well-earned rest.
