Year 6K

Welcome to Year 6K

Welcome to Year 6K. My name is Ms. Khan, and I am delighted to be the class teacher this year. I am very fortunate to be supported by Ms. Karimi, who will also be working closely with the children.

Year 6 is an important and exciting year, filled with opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and independence in preparation for the transition to secondary school. The curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire pupils across all subjects, while also encouraging them to become confident, resilient learners.

This year will also include the Key Stage 2 SATs assessments, which take place in May. These provide an opportunity for pupils to demonstrate the progress they have made throughout their time in primary school. In Year 6K, we will ensure that children feel well-prepared and supported, approaching these assessments with confidence and a positive attitude.

Alongside this, pupils will continue to enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and memorable experiences that make Year 6 such a significant and rewarding year.

Key Information for Year 6K
