The Salford Songbook Concert
Fri 16 May 2025Today, Year 4 & 5 spent an amazing day with us at The Lowry celebrating The Salford Songbook Concert. Having spent a number of weeks practising a collection of specially written songs all about the beauty of our planet, we joined together with other schools to sing our hearts out and praise God. A Truly Beautiful Holy Week
Wed 16 Apr 2025This week, we have brought a close to all of our busy curriculum work, pausing our lessons and making our school quiet & peaceful to walk with Jesus on His Passiontide journey. We have celebrated Palm Sunday, broken bread at The Last Supper, prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane and fallen silent for the crucifixion. We have waved palms, made Easter cards, walked through conscience alley and re-enacted the walk to Calvary through The Stations of the Cross. A beautiful week, shared with our parents and carers, devoted to Our Lord. We are all feeling very proud to be part of the St Bernard’s family.

A Fantastic Reward Morning
Fri 11 Apr 2025Today we spent a fantastic time taking part in our half termly Reward Morning. As a treat for good behaviour, best efforts and a super attitude we had a morning of fun with Mr Shaw leading our newest addition to our sporting menu - Lacrosse, and our friends at Fifth Movement leading us in Dance, Karate and Tag Rugby. We even found a little extra time to make some gorgeous chocolate Easter nests to share. A brilliant day ……well worth working hard for!
