  Mary, Blessed Mother of Jesus. We have marked this special day with art work, prayers and birthday cards honouring Mary and thanking her for always being there for us. Well done to Year 5 for their beautiful display in our main corridor.

  

• Bernie Visits…….?

  Do you know where Bernie is today….? He is somewhere in Italy …..somewhere that is very famous ……somewhere that has a very famous tower that looks like it’s about to fall over…..?! Ms Cant will be able to tell you. Maybe, in the Construction Area in your classroom, you could make your very own leaning tower 😉. He then had a nice meal and went to the theatre to see a wonderful Italian singer.

  

• Bernie Relaxes on the Cruise Ship

  Bernie has had a nice gentle day on the ship today. He spent some time looking at the sea then he went up the very big shiny staircase to see the art work in the gallery. He used the lift down to the pool, had a nice meal and then played a game. He found it really hard to choose a dessert tonight!

  

• Bernie Visits Le Petit Chef

  Bernie went to an amazing restaurant tonight where the little chef came to life on his plate! The little chef showed Bernie how he prepared the food and then brought it to the table for him to try. Bernie then enjoyed a game of chess before a good long sleep 😴.

  

• Bernie Visits Pompei!

  Bernie has been to visit Pompei in Naples today. Ms Cant will be able to tell you about Pompei Early Years - there’s a very big volcano there! He found it really interesting. When he got back, the very clever chefs had made a chocolate fountain so he tried melon and pineapple covered in chocolate. Before bedtime, he met another officer from the ship’s crew in the art gallery. He wanted to know all about our school.

  

• Bernie Goes to Dubrovnik

  Overnight, the boat sailed to Dubrovnik. Bernie had a look around and climbed up lots of steps so he could see the beautiful view. After a little cheeky dessert in one of the nice cafes, he got back on the ship and met the captain of the ship and some of the crew. He like the head chef the best! 🍲

  

• Bernie Visits the Waterfalls of Krka…..

  Bernie had a look at the beautiful waterfalls in the national park in Krka. He got very hot so after his ice cream he had a little lie down before getting back on the ship. After his tea, he had a go at table tennis - he was really good at it! See you tomorrow 👍🏼.

  

• Bernie Settles In…..

  Bernie has had a lovely first day on the ship. He had a nice meal and then went to see an amazing musician who plays the violin. He actually got to meet him afterwards - he started playing the violin when he was three years old ….the same age as some of you. He’s finished the day watching A Minecraft Movie.  He’s going to sleep now and when he wakes up he’ll be somewhere new. I’ll let you know tomorrow 🛳️.

• Bernie Visits a Venetian Glass Factory

  Bernie went to see how glass is made today in a very special place where they make jewellery, glasses and huge, big sculptures. Did you know Early Years, glass is actually made out of sand. It is heated up by very clever people and turned into special shapes. Then it is decorated once it has cooled down. Bernie found it all very exciting!
